Repeated notice for BeagleBone Black users
There is a critically important change in this PR. The problem happened over in Linux land. The details are in the PR and linked on from there. It affects eMMC life times and also wired ethernet doesn't work.
Read up on and take actions accordingly.

NervesHub 2.x release!
Sometimes you get a hint multiple times within the space of 24 hours. It has completely passed people by that NervesHub 2.x is out, ready and used widely in production.
This is certainly a miss on our part, us that work on NervesHub. I think Eric, Jon and crew that did the 1.x to 2.x conversion are excused for just executing on it but we do need to tag a release so people get a sense of orientation. We might run NervesCloud off of main but maybe you want to do differently and that's fair.
If you have been holding off though. Please don't. I've put a PR in to update the introductory text which was decidedly hesitant.
I'll make a proper launch post as we tag a release.

Only Elixir 1.13 and later are supported now. There are no known issues with using earlier versions at the moment, but it’s no longer regularly checked in CI.

This reverts the Linux kernel to 5.10.168. It was done to fix issues with eMMC life time and the Ethernet PHY. See PR #351 for details.

Nerves Meetup!
The Nerves Meetup has released Ben Murphy's talk on gen_statem . The last meetup listed 45 attendees which is a decent bunch and the next event is coming up on in September. It says Abelino is hosting which I think is a new move. Exciting!

Supporting the Nerves project
We want to encourage everyone to contribute in whatever way works for them. Here are some ways we currently recommend:
- Write or port a new hardware library and include it in the Elixir Circuits collection.
- Get in touch about taking over maintenance duties for some libraries, we might be able to provide you hardware.
- Apply for an EEF stipend on something Nerves-related and build it. We can help if you have questions about this.
- Send corrections or improvements for documentation wherever it fails to help you.
- Write about Nerves, give talks about Nerves. Make videos about Nerves. It is all good.
