Official project updates
After conference time pushed all pending development out into public I guess we're in for a bit of quiet. Not a bad time to take a breath, get ready for autumn, sip som tea. My github-slurping-machine finds a single update.
As this is a very brief issue I want to invite all the readers to also make sure you are in the #nerves Slack and I'd love to get your thoughts on this discussion prompt:
- How feasible is edge ML/AI with Nerves today?
- What devices would you explore using?
- Have any of you done any of it?

Nerves Meetup just happened
The Nerves Meetup just happened on the 28th so I don't yet know when the next one happens.
Nerves Training at Code BEAM America
Frank Hunleth and Bruce Tate will run their training at Code BEAM as well. They bring the knowledge and hardware so you don't have to.
You should be able to score a discount code sometime in the near future if you keep an ear out for BEAM Radio and the episode where we go over the Chris McCord keynote whenever that comes out.

Supporting the Nerves project
We want to encourage everyone to contribute in whatever way works for them. Here are some ways we currently recommend:
- Write or port a new hardware library and include it in the Elixir Circuits collection.
- Give money to the project via Open Collective.
- Get in touch about taking over maintenance duties for some libraries, we might be able to provide you hardware.
- Apply for an EEF stipend on something Nerves-related and build it. We can help if you have questions about this.
- Send corrections or improvements for documentation wherever it fails to help you.
- Write about Nerves, give talks about Nerves. Make videos about Nerves. It is all good.
