There is also a new system released by SmartRent. The SmartRent Hub which is considered for use in Nerves trainings since SmartRent supports a lot of Nerves development and can actually get the hardware (supply chain etc). That system is called nerves_system_srhub.

- Add VintageNet.info_as_ansidata/1. This lets you get the same results as VintageNet.info, but in a way that’s easy to put on a web page or send to a server, etc.
- Support updating network configuration even when it can’t be persisted. Previously if there was an error saving the configuration and persist: true (the default), the configuration wouldn’t be applied. This turned out to be problematic when trying to get some devices fixed. Now the device won’t have the right config on reboot, but it can be reached over the network to be fixed.

Community updates
RISC-V on the ElixirConf Nerves Training
Frank tweeted about the hardware for the upcoming Nerves training. Should be interesting. It's the Mango Pi MQ Pro that's going to be used for this training. I'd attend just to get all the good vibes from Bruce and Frank, two of the most friendly people I've run into.
NervesConf II - Sold out
NervesConf is entirely sold out. That's fantastic. I'm incredibly envious of everyone who can go.
Nerves Meetup - Skipping one
The Nerves Meetup will hold off during ElixirConf/NervesConf.
Industrial devices talk at ElixirConf
Aldebaran Alonso is slated to give a talk on Elixir & Nerves for industrial devices at ElixirConf US 2022.
Supporting the Nerves project
We want to encourage everyone to contribute in whatever way works for them. Here are some ways we currently recommend:
- Write or port a new hardware library and include it in the Elixir Circuits collection.
- Give money to the project via Open Collective.
- Get in touch about taking over maintenance duties for some libraries, we might be able to provide you hardware.
- Apply for an EEF stipend on something Nerves-related and build it. We can help if you have questions about this.
- Send corrections or improvements for documentation wherever it fails to help you.
- Write about Nerves, give talks about Nerves. Make videos about Nerves. It is all good.
